TYRE PUNCTURE REPAIR

Punctures are always a pain, however, they demand immediate attention, regardless of where you are or are planning to go. Whether or not a puncture can be repaired, is dependent on the size, location of the puncture and the extent of the internal damage to the tyre.
Punctures located on the sidewall or shoulder of the tyre are not safe to repair. Only punctures located on the tread area of the tyre can be repaired, provided the hole is less than 6mm in diameter and the tyre has not been internally damaged by driving on the flat tyre.
We take several steps to properly repair a punctured tyre. Each of these steps are necessary to ensure the integrity of the repair. Following these steps also ensure that the retains its original speed and load rating. To ensure the repair is successful, always repair a puncture as soon as possible. Any repair made to a tyre without completely removing the tyre from the wheel and inspecting the inside, is considered incomplete and could potentially be dangerous
